This is the biggest weekend in the history of women"s MMA. Saturday night at UFC 184, the top two fights will feature women: Ronda Rousey vs. Cat Zingano for Rousey"s UFC women"s bantamweight title, and Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington. Friday night at Invicta FC 11, the main event featured one of the biggest names in women"s MMA, Cris "Cyborg" Justino.

There is a lot of interest in a possible Rousey-Cyborg megafight; Rousey is the best fighter in women"s MMA and Cyborg is No. 2. Cyborg took another step toward that showdown with a 46-second TKO of Charmaine Tweet to retain her Invicta FC featherweight championship.

The bout started with Tweet coming right at Cyborg, but Justino landed an overhand right that dropped Tweet and seemed to break her nose. Justino landed a few more punches and Tweet was able to get back to her feet. Justino threw more punches to the face and body and referee Herb Dean stopped the fight.
Justino extended her winning streak to 13. She hasn"t lost a fight since her professional debut in 2005.

A fight with the undefeated Rousey would seem to be closer than ever after Friday, but Justino first needs to fight at bantamweight. Rousey, meanwhile, has been vocal about Justino testing positive for steroids, and the two have had harsh words for each other in the past. One wonders whether Cyborg will attend UFC 184 on Saturday night.
Justino said after Friday"s fight that she will try to get to 135 pounds. Now all Rousey has to do is beat Zingano, which will be no easy task.
